Black Healthcare & Medical Association Team

Board of Directors 

The BHMA Board of Directors is the principal overseer and governing body. The BoD roles include setting overall strategy, promoting the Association internally, and providing guidance to the Staff and Management Team.

Executive Council

The BHMA Executive Council is the principal link between the Association and Fortune 1000 CXO and VP level executives. The Council roles include external networking, helping setting overall strategy, and providing guidance to the Board of Directors and to the Management Team.

Management Team

The BHMA Management Team is primarily responsible for day-to-day decision-making and implementation. Staff roles include strategic planning, operations, interface with the Board of Directors, and event planning.

Events Team

The Event Team is the leader on and principal planner for BHMA conferences, symposiums, webinars, and workshops. This Team make decisions on and does implementation for event content, format, and location.

Global Group

The Global Group drives our goals, strategy, and implementation regarding the Association's global footprint and outreach. This international focus includes Africa, South America, the Caribbean, and the entire Black Diaspora.

Research Group

BHMA Research Group is comprised of academics and business professionals with an impressive array of credentials, experiences and expertise. The Research Group focuses pursuing cutting edge research and scholarship at the intersection of African-American professionals and the healthcare/life science sectors.
